These are a few of my favorite things...

Breakfast delivered to me on my birthday morning!

Phil and Bev 4Ever!  Dinner was my choice!

 A birthday card from Alea...

And a birthday package from Nea!!!

And this card from Jen hit right to the core.  Hilarious and timely.

Read Across America Day is my favorite day to teach...it was like a birthday present on 3/2...blanket-made forts, pillows, and fifth graders reading...

Adding this to my Jeff Sleeping collection...

 Brothers snuggling!!!

Basketball Saturday

His face says it all on his FIRST BASKETBALL GAME EVER! iHighlights include: 1) a basket! 2) calling to us from the bench and waving really big, and 3) hearing "Pass! I'm open!" probably 1- times in every posession.

And then after his game, Gracie and I got to have some Granny time.  She picked up UPWARDS in no time!

Daddy's Gone to Olympia

Dad's not a legislator, but this week he got to spend a week in the state's capital with his students, introducing them to legislators!  We tried to keep ourselves super busy so we wouldn't miss him TOO much...

We got a V-Day package from Linnea in LA!

G'ma Colleen snuck in while we were at the farm the weekend before and recovered my piano bench!  It was an early birthday present!  I love it!

And I had to take a picture of the pottery house that turned out so cute...

 Olympia group...

*May* have rushed the first bike ride/walk  to school...too much snow!

How does THIS happen when Daddy is gone?

 Birthday treats from school...such fun!
Dad's at Snoqualmie!  He's getting close to home!

HOME.  He made it.  We made it.

Oden's TRANSFORMER Birthday

This boy.  He's FIVE!  Believe it!  He was born, we all blinked, and wha-la!  Five.  The kindergarten-around-the-corner birthday...  And he had a blast!  Transformers were ALL THE RAGE with this kid this year.  And he knows them all by name.  Love this boy!!!

February Half Days and Conference Days

This was the first year that Mead held their spring conferences in February.  Wednesday was a half day and Thursday and Friday were No School days.  Annie was a dreamboat and picked up the biggers halfway through the day on Wednesday, and then we shipped the kids off to the farm!  The kids LOVED conference week!

After G'ma and Papa spoiled them for a few days, Jeff and I joined them for the weekend.  Look at this sweet lamp Dad made from a Pontiac heater!  It's my new favorite Papa Greg Creation.

Josh Funnies

I loved this response!  I teased Josh endlessly for NOT applying himself, and used it as an example/funny story in my classroom.  Why...yes.

Happy Valentine's Day!

We got to help serve Elixir of Love drinks at Gracie's Valentine's Day party in her classroom.
