Farm Camp and Labor Day Weekend Fun

Mom and Dad were sweet enough to let the kids stay with them for four days while Jeff and I went back to work meetings the last week of August.  Mom kept sending me cute pics of the kids having all sorts of fun...Jeff and I were excited to meet up with them on Friday night!  We stayed for the Labor Day weekend and celebrated Megan (again) with tired harvesters.

Harvest Weekend--2018

We were in Maui when the winter wheat was ready, so we missed out on the fast and furious part of the reaping, but we got in on a weekend of spring wheat!  Micah was so excited to get to ride with Uncle Ben in the combine!  Cindy was up for a visit, so we had lots of good family time.

Heidi's Birthday Present--Shhhh!

 The Van Sickles moved into their new house this summer, did all sorts of projects, got their other house ready to rent, and then escaped to Juneau for a few weeks.  I'd helped the crew paint three bedrooms, SEVERAL COATS, so we pooped out on painting before we got to the master bathroom.  But while Heidi was away, Jeff and Ellie stopped by her house to play...er, paint.  Happy Birthday, Heidi!  No more navy, half-painted, bathroom!
