More Birthday...the BOYS invade...

Josh didn't want to leave anyone out...so he invited all the boys in his class to his birthday party after school.  After the party Jeff and I came to two realizations: 1) three hours is TOO LONG for a birthday party and 2) Mrs. Cong is a SAINT!  Holy cow!  So much energy!  I had to ask boys not to hang off of our deck balcony!  Eeek.  Apparently Josh was the calm one?!?!  Who knew...

Josh's EPIC Birthday Weekend

Well the best part of the weekend:  Colin and Linnea surprised the kids!  They're on their way to NYC...and after packing up their existence in LA, they made a pitstop to stay with their Spokane family for 4-5 days.  It was AMAZING.

 All of the surprise wore Jeff right out!

 We decided to do a Selkirk Birthday/March Madness Party for Josh.  So fun to have L and C with us, too!

 For Kai's birthday, we met them at Olive Garden!  Kai had a rough spring, but it was nice to be able to celebrate with him on this night that he perked up.

We love this boy!  We love how he loves to help...is quite the host...doesn't bat an eye tackling some physical labor project with his dad...drummer extraordinaire...Happy 9th Birthday, Kai Boom!
