Grace turns 11...so we have a 11ama party, obviously.

G'ma Dianne made Grace a hat!  Her favorite color!  Grace humored me and let me pu11 together a birthday theme to remember:  a 11ama party!  She helped decorate the birthday table with her succulents, and she and Jeff teamed up to make her cake: strawberry shortcake.  It was a great day--full of family and 11ama decor and yard games--but perhaps the highlight was seeing Jeff rescue a bola from the very tip of the treetop.  Eeeek!

Salmon Education

These two boys got to meet up at Fairwood's Garden Mall to observe Daddy's students share their Salmon Projects.  I had the day off (no snow make-up needed!) and Nels had a G'ma Colleen day.  G'ma took both of these characters home with her to spend the rest of the afternoon playing together.
