Grace got her braces off!!!

After two years of metal in her mouth, Grace got her braces off!  We decided it was a good two years to have braces...most of that time was spent behind a mask! :) She was pretty excited, even if she would NOT let me tell the Chic-fil-A  cashier that her braces just came off. We did a little shopping down on Monroe in between her braces-off and get-her-retainer visit and she took advantage of me while I was talking on the phone with Linnea.  #blessedmama

Ellie turns 43...right?!?

Jeff got to drive the Fairwood bus on my Sunday Birthday this year.  It was the [birthday] Party Bus!

And then the kids stayed with S&C in the afternoon while Jeff and I went to listen to Erik Larson talk about his writing at LCHS.  We ran into Jen and Annie... so fun! When we picked up the kids, Colleen had made us dinner and invited the grandmas to join.  What a birthday treat!!!

A Nessa Cut and the Mosers Up

Look at that cute shaggy dog, BEFORE...and AFTER:  Eek!

Megan had a gym meet on 2/26, so the Mosers were going to come up to see her perform and then come have birthday breakfast with me on Saturday morning, after staying at KT's.  Megan twisted her ankle and didn't compete, so instead, we got COUSIN TIME on Friday night.

Look what Jeff made me for my birthday: a garden trog!!!  Apparently THIS is what he's been staying late at school doing...I had no idea!  I love it, especially the diagonal handle.

It was so good to see the MOSER SIX.  Love them.

Larry Iverson-----1943-2022

Larry C. Iverson, 78; passed away doing what he loved tinkering on his rigs, on Thursday, February 17th, 2022.

Larry was born in Moscow to Roy and Doris (Nelson) Iverson on July 23, 1943. Attended Genesee High School graduating in 1961. Soon after he enrolled at Spokane Falls Community College. After finishing college he enlisted in the Army for four years.

In 1968 he married the love of his life Carol Yarnell, from Okanogan, Washington. They made their home on the family farm, where they raised 3 ornery daughters. They were married for 54 wonderful years.

Larry enjoyed farming, camping, fishing, 4-wheeling, car shows, working on old cars, and spending time with family and friends while enjoying a cold “Bud”.

Larry was proceeded in death by parents Roy & Doris Iverson and sister, Janet Iverson. Larry is survived by his wife Carol; three daughters Jeannie (Troy) Culver, Julie (Monte) Wilson, and Jodie (Jason) Iverson. Four grandchildren Sydney and Dylan Wilson, Kinsey and Ryson Culver. And his dog Molly. He will be greatly missed and loved by his many friends and family. He is now plowing God’s fields with his John Deere Tractor.

The service will take place at 1 p.m. February 24 at Short’s Funeral Chapel in Moscow. Burial service will follow at Moscow City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to Genesee Volunteer Fire Department.

Many thanks to all who reached out to the family.

Jeff and I went down to the funeral in Moscow, and got to see Jodie and the family.  Mom met us for the service, but Dad wasn't feeling well.  Got to visit with Brandon and Marci and Jillann and Luke after the service and we vowed to get together again under different circumstances, SOON. We went out the farm afterward to see Dad and to get my birthday present: a little red wagon for my garden!

2-22-22

It was a TWOS-DAY with my K/1 kids today!!! 2-22-22 on Tuesday?!?  Are you kidding?!? We had DOUBLE the fun today with crowns, two's activities, and a slideshow of all the kids at age TWO.  Dreamy.

Couldn't help taking a picture of Micah's writing on 2-22-22..."2 things I can make: make a goal, make a caseadea. 😂💙

Oden turns TEN.

Time is moving at mach speed.  Our baby ginger is TEN.  Bizarre.  He is such a great one!  We love everything that he shares with us--usually a lot!--and we think it's a better day when Oden is part of it.

Our 7th (and final, boo!) Ski Trip of the year

Today we took Kai with us, and left after church.  It was a cold day, and Grace offered Josh her buff, which she realized was a bad choice later in the day. After 6 runs, Josh and Grace and I needed a FRIES break to squeeze out a few more runs.  This ended up being our last trip up for the season--we didn't know it at the time.  What a great season of skiing!  Our kids great leaps and bounds and we had more fun than not--which might be a first?!?  :)

Nessa Turns TWO!!!

Grace told me I needed a LAST PICTURE OF NESSA AT AGE ONE.  So here it is.  The next day...wah-lah!  She's two!  We didn't celebrate like we did last year, but we did get her a cheese bone and Grace insisted on a party hat.  We love this teenager-in-dog-years pup! (I think both Grace and Nessa are the same age for a couple of months?)

And then, someone at MSHS thought it would be a good idea to have 8th grade orientation ON FEBRUARY 16, the year before they start high school.  Cruel, and bizarre.
