Micah's 10-Yr Old Trip: Moab to Spokane, Insanity

We got up early and drove FROM MOAB TO SPOKANE in one day. Stops in Idaho Falls and Missoula to see our Alea! We were so crazy, but ready to be home. AN EPIC 10-YR OLD TRIP!!!

 

Micah's 10-Yr Old Trip: Canyonlands Nat'l Park, UT

We drove to our final Nat'l Park: 6/6 Canyonlands, on a very windy day! Note the dusty sky and flying tumbleweed in the pictures! The big kids ended up staying in the car at our little rock-scrambling outing after stopping by the Ranger's Station. We drove quite a bit of the park, seeing rock climbers and MORE RED ROCK. 

 

Micah's 10-Yr Old Trip: Mt. Biking outside of Arches Nat'l Park

We took the bikes all the way down to Utah...we finally used them! We spent the morning exploring the bike trails outside of Arches...we ended up splitting up to meet the biking needs/interests of each Lochhead. At the end there was a RODEO area that Micah got to practice bike jumps while we waited for Dad to galavant and return. Then a delicious dinner in Moab...donuts and shopping and bike shops were also explored...AND we used the pool in our last AirBB's complex.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Nessa was having a great time STILL camping with G'ma and Papa!

Arches Nat'l Park was breathtaking! So many hoodoos and arches...we hiked out to the Delicate Arch and then hiked in the Devil's Garden area to see the Landscape Arch. The erosion sculptures were quite amazing...
