Math IS Cool!

Grace and her MIC team competed well at St. George's this winter.  It was fun to watch the kids solve those really difficult math problems!

Not Going to Miss Their Shot

Jeff's school got a grant to teach history by way of Hamilton, An American Musical.  We've been listening to the music since January, so we fell in love with the music, too.  He got to take his kids to Seattle to see it performed LIVE.  Such an exciting event.  He had two students who were chosen to perform their created piece before several other schools who were in attendance.  I was at home, waiting for every text and picture that he sent and watched all of the top Hamilton videos on YouTube.  I took the opportunity to create my April Fools' props: PEEPS.

Janie turns ELEVEN

Micah got to come to my classroom for the afternoon.  He was a big hit.  Daddy sent pictures of the team bonding that's going on in Hood River, and Janie turned ELEVEN and celebrated at the South Hill Round Table.

Midway Book Bingo Night

Bingo Night at Midway was attended while Dad was gone to Hood River for a school conference.  We quickly found the Kings and Rissmans to sit with and had a great night of marking bingo cards.  Grace's name got pulled for a raffle basket!  She won the movie bin!
