In our family, Daddy usually gets to take the day off to go on the kids' field trips (they usually happen on Thursdays or Fridays when I work).  This spring Daddy went with Josh and his kindergarten class to see the CYT performance of Seussical Musical.  And there were some downtown shenanigans...

Boise or Bust!!

 Aunt Christi turned 60 on May 6, and her family hosted a surprise birthday party for her a few weekends after...the drive to Boise is long, but we couldn't turn down an opportunity to get the Mosers together for a good reason!  (And it was a good excuse to meet Baby Wren!)

 Subway in New Meadows!  Caravan-ed with Ben and Kelly and Millie and this little cutie.

 We arrived an hour before the party, so after helping with some food we walked the pesty dogs, er, kids.

 Wren was so sweet!  Carmen and Zach were happy to share her with us--and we all took turns snuggling with her.

 It took her a while to process what was going on...but soon she started down the hug line, and all of the liars came clean with their stories of birthday conspiracy planning.

Kindergarten Afternoons

Many times when I'd come home from work on Thursdays [affectionately renamed "G'ma Colleen Days" in our family] I'd find proof of afternoon shenanigans of morning kindergarteners.  Mimi, G'ma Colleen, Kai and Josh were often in kahoots when it came to after school play times...

We had Brady and Abby stay with us overnight.  Abby was trying out for the Shadow, in anticipation of their move to Spokane in the fall.
