School Supplies!!!

Binders--Josh printed off Liverpool's season games and Grace searched all over town for a binder that fit her requirements.

School supplies!  Binders, shoes, backpacks...

...and then a Lauren Daigle concert with Heidi!  Jeff gave me tickets for my birthday, back in February, and the concert was rescheduled due to snow.  Of course it was rescheduled during harvest...Heidi and I had a great time, but I did miss Jeff!  Happy Birthday, Heidi Lynn!

90+ Tournament at Polo Fields

Josh got to play an August tournament with the 2010 90+ team.  They had a great weekend!  2nd place, and the final game was pretty scrappy!  Abby was also playing, so we met up with the Morrows and you'll see Grace and Megan entertained themselves on the sidelines...

 

Off to Harvest

Jeff went to help with harvest after one day of Josh's soccer tournament and Micah moved into his sleeping spot in the middle of the night.  It ended up raining and he came back! ha!  He'll go again...stay tuned!

Reunited, and it feels so good!

The Van Sickles came back from their weeks in Alaska!  We didn't waste any time welcoming them back to Spokane--and we weren't in the door but two minutes before THE TWIN CHALLENGE was started.  Kai and Sandy, Alea and Grace, and Josh and Kalei (Micah was too obsessed with the ukelele to participate).  Grace says that the Alea/Grace dance pushed them toward the win.  But we had quite a few laughs at this activity.

Kaitlyn Visit!!!!!

Kaitlyn had several weeks where she was home from Austria and in Salem with her family.  We'd been pooped out from traveling, so we asked if she could come to us...and she did!  Right after a camping trip she and her dad came up for a quick 36-hour trip.  We took them to Hello Sugar, walked around (a HOT) Manito Park, and got to experience just one smoky August night (fires in the NW were a bit better this year).  Such a fun, fast time to catch up.  Love this lady!

Les Mis

I got tickets to Les Mis for Jeff way back in December, and we'd been looking forward to this play for months!  Luckily harvest was a bit late this year, so we didn't have to worry about traveling back from the farm to make showtime.  This was opening night and we had such a great time.  Kaitlyn came to visit us and arrived just in time to get the kids ALL TO HERSELF :) while we went to the play.  We ate at Sante before the show, and I spotted Shane and Melissa cruising by on their way to dinner.  It was such a great show.  I was impressed with the sets and of course the voices.  Not let down!
