Our Little Blue Fish

We took Grace to the YMCA on our day off to teach her to swim. Here she is, relaxing with Dad, after she had finished her lap swim. She was quick to ditch her swim cap and goggles.

Believe it or not, she really is quite buoyant. :)

Dad bought her this swimsuit and was a great swim instructor.

She was a little nervous about the water until I put the camera down and got in with her and Jeff. She's still a big MOM fan. Whatever is good for Mom is good for her!

Our friends, the VanSickles, invited us to go with them today. Gracie kept trying to grab the girls' goggles as they swam up to her.

She stayed in the water for about an hour! In the car, on the way home, she fell asleep like her dad and G'ma Colleen sleep best: with her head slumped forward on her chest.

We just got your Christmas card in the mail yesterday- thank you!! Oh man, Grace is SUCH a cutie pie! I hadn't looked at your blog since she was first born. Didn't she have a lot of hair back then? I'm excited to follow your blog... I'm adding you to our "favorites".

LOVE IT!! Her pudgy little arms and legs have been hiding under layers of winter clothes! She is completely kissable.

Also loved the Christmas card! Thanks!

Looks like Johnny and I missed out, but since he didn't get out of bed until 3:00 that day I guess I was right when I said I didn't think we'd be able to make it : )

Love all the shades of blue in these pictures. Isn't it totally fun swimming with a baby and watching them experience the water. Soon you'll be throwing her back and forth. Sounds like a fun day! Thanks for bringing your camera along!

Your little blue fish is getting "bloglazy."

Gracie, quit throwing toys off your high chair and update your blog.
