Labor Day weekend gave us an extra day to visit the farm. We usually don't go anywhere on this anti-teacher holiday (is Labor Day an extra day for teachers to labor?) but decided we'd either mourn summer at home or we could mourn summer in a place with no chores, so…we were delighted to get away one last time!

Megan's bday party was at Hells Gate State Park, so that was a good excuse for Sharps for lunch! Saddles NOT optional.
Megan had a few friends from school at the river…and cousins Gracie and Josh and Millie.

Joshy's decided that Auntie Katie makes THE BEST CUPCAKES. Katie agreed and gave him a second. :)
