November 14 started out with dropping Gracie off at school and the boys and I going to Granny and Pappy's for a visit. Pappy got out the cardboard car ramp, so the boys were in heaven.
Then Josh and I decided it was time to introduce Micah to the really long car carts at Fred Meyer. Josh calls these the "available carts" because whenever he asks if we can use one, I always answer, "Well, we'll have to see if one's available..." Micah LOVED riding with Joshy AND steering wheels.
That night we celebrated Gracie by taking her to Pizza Hut where she got her coupon for a personal pan pizza for doing all of her homework in October. The visit was a total bomb. Josh refused to eat pizza and when we insisted, he literally threw it up on the table and floor. And after all of that, they charged us for the personal pan pizza. Well, I suppose when they cleaned up pizza barf, they'll realize that they need to make sure that a free personal pan pizza is actually free. :) (This is why we don't eat out anymore, people! We don't even WANT to!) :)
From there, we went to church to watch "How To Train A Dragon II" on the big screen. Super fun for the kids. Lots of sleeping bags, popcorn, and spilled juice on the vast carpet. :) Jeff kept checking his internet to see if he'd passed National Boards...
...and later that night we found out that he DID, indeed pass. Everyone in his cohort did. We'd waited six months for this news. It was a night of great rejoicing!!!
