Work FUN.
Did NOT even call each other.
(Same right down to the v-necks and the flip flops!)
Work is a little easier to go back to with great co-workers like Cassie. She just returned from her European adventure!

The Moser Piano
Through the smoky haze of the August Burn, we ventured down to the farm! The kids were going to get to stay with G'ma and Papa overnight while Jeff and I returned to go to meetings and set up our classrooms. The smoke was so thick that Jeff had to breathe through his sock-mask.
The Moser Family Piano has a new home! Mom said that when we were ready, she would pass it on to us. We really wanted Grace to start lessons this year, so we took advantage of the trip, rented a Uhaul, and brought it back to Spokane with us. We are so excited to have this treasure!
Things are a little more crowded...

Backyard Makeover at Auntie Julie's
We had a great time helping Julie with her backyard makeover in August! We spent two nights with Julie, helping her haul rock and plant her newly curb-defined flower beds.
Of course the kids were MORE than happy to swim in Trina's pool...
It was SUPER hot. I can't even think of a way to describe the heat. It was over 100 degrees. Of course. On the weekend we plan yard work. :)
Three stools. The kids thought Auntie planned it just for them.
Of course, Micah loved the fan.
It was a great couple of days with that lady! On our way home from our last summer trip, we admired the beautiful sunset...but not too much, for we knew it was because of the Washington State fires that were going strong...
