The month of April had Pappy in the hospital for complications and inconveniences in life. Getting old is not for sissies, folks. His heart is getting old, so doctors attempted a surgery to help his heart regain more function. They weren't sure if it would help that significantly, but they did it with hope. Grandpa remained in the hospital to recover for quite a while. Perri came to visit at the end of April and she and Scott helped Grandma pick out a place for Pappy to recover. Pappy moved into Royal Park at the beginning of May, hoping to be there for a short time to recover. We loved going to see him there--and this was the first day we were able to see him. Micah and I took him some flowers and Micah was thrilled that they had a play structure in the outdoor patio.
