Jeff got home from Fall Camp with his students at Chewelah Peak and we jumped in the car to go to the farm for the weekend. There were grandparents to hug and leaves to rake!
You can see they did a lot of RAKING. Ha! Actually, Jeff had them working well together and then rewarded them with a good jump in the leaf pile. Which turned into a wrestle...which turned into a burial...unlimited amounts of fun in a good old fashioned pile of leaves!
Leaves are great for disc-ing...
While Jeff and G'ma and the kids were raking, Papa Greg and I were working on these little gems...craft fair is coming!
The best part about raking leaves at the farm is the transport/disposal plan...Papa has a truck bed liner that he hooks up to the Gator. It's like a chariot! (until Mom insists that you sit down when it's in motion...hence the pouting in the next picture...)
The couple that Sudoku-s together, stays together...
Meanwhile, Micah is demonstrating the amazing treat that is the farm: sacked out during movie time, he's too exhausted from outdoor fun to care about his clothes that are dirty and askew nor his face that is smeared with oreo cookie crumbs. Life at the farm is THE. BEST.
