My cute window decor...Heidi and I got these little tree decorations on Black Friday together!

Somehow on a Friday night after Grace's basketball game, we ended up eating with the V's.  Two things you can always count on with this crew:  1) there will be some sort of performance during the night, and 2) they will always ask to sleep over.

Both happened, and when we picked up the kids the next day, we took them first to White Elephant, where they came up with the idea of having a Christmas together where the kids drew each others' names.  So sweet.  And then we went downtown to see the trees at the Davenport.  They each got tickets to choose which trees they wanted to get into the drawing for...but we never got the call telling us we won! Boo, hiss.  A fun weekend with these kids!
