ONE excited ten-year old!

Many thanks to all who went out of their way to show Josh birthday love in the time of Corona...6 ft away, over the phone, or from a drive-by party van.  Grateful for this boy, the simplicity of the day, and ll of the love from our "remote" village.

Liverpool Love

Facetiming with the grandparents!

PARTY VAN-Sickle Style!  :)

In case you were wondering, we're running out of soap.  Finally.  All of those Bath and Body Works exchanges paid off!  :)

The Eccleshalls came over for outdoor birthday singing and cake with Josh.  These friends became part of our "quarantine bubble" during the spring of 2020.

G'ma and Papa did a drive-by birthday stop.

Drew and Annie's crew facetimed in their greeting...

...and Aunt KT brought Josh TOILET PAPER!!!  She's got connections! :)  :)

TWO birthday boys...

TWO birthday buddies on March 25.  I spent the morning reminiscing on the blog!

God gave Kai a dusting of SNOW on his tenth birthday.  What a gift! (???)

(I love this Weekend Write by Micah on hammock time with Mom!)

And here are the birthday boys, SIX FEET APART, on their special birthday week.

We had ice cream on waffles the night before Josh's birthday!  De-licious!

And here's the last look at our NINE year old...the next day he turned TEN.  Sigh.  A decade of Joshua!

FOUR games played, THREE relatives bearing bday gifts

FOUR games played today with FOUR family members!

THREE relatives bearing birthday gifts.  Six feet apart, of course!

This zoom meeting scene became our life.  Here's my teaching team collaborating from our homes (and school)...and Micah Facetiming G'ma Joan to show his hole in his mouth!

And then it SNOWED on March 26...oh, brother.  A special kind of perseverance/perspective needed today!

FIVE golden ring(-ed donuts)

Five days before Josh's birthday he got FIVE dontuts from Hello Sugar.  Then we hiked at the Feryn Conservatory before heading over to Abby's front porch to celebrate her Covid-birthday!

PS, I tried to get everyone to wear crimson t-shirts today so we could be MAROON 5, but apparently that was taking a theme too far...  :)

 And Jeff's beer bread...was excellent!!!
