Reflection on 2022

2022 has come to a close. Ever-transitioning, this year we have kids in three schools. Grace started MSHS, I started consulting with families on Thursdays, Micah started his second year with Mrs. Wunsch in a 2/3 combo, and we quickly remembered how to live maskless for the last nine months. We were so sad to lose GG this fall, but found joy in Abby's MSHS graduation and experience with soccer at L&C, skiing in Jan/Feb, attended two Broadway Musicals (Wicked and Hamilton!), and bought the trailer. We got to visit the Redwoods and Crater Lake with Auntie Julz. Grace is enjoying HS life, Josh excelled in sports and music,  Micah picked up the piano (with an amazing homeschool teacher! ha) and loved his soccer and basketball teams. It's hard to believe it can get better, people! We are so grateful for this 2022 year we've gotten to live...

Wild and Crazy NYE

Diving into the stolen tea...left on our porch when the shoes were stolen...and the Mateo's Salsa FOR THE WIN!!! It's excellent. An instant family favorite. Thanks, Megan and G'ma Joan! Ha, ha!

Micah did legos and I puzzled with my new puzzle trays...such a great day. We didn't end up hanging out with the Van Sickles this NYE because they had a wedding to go to that day...

That night we had Janie stay over...and watched Rat Race! Doesn't that sum up the year?!?

More of Jeff's Woodworking Projects...and home to hibernate.

Jeff made these amazing neighborhood coasters for the cousin's White Elephant gift exchange. They got stolen a few times but finally ended up with D&A. We realized we didn't take pics for Jeff's woodworking file, so we had Drew send these. Each of the neighborhoods belongs to one of the four cousins and S&C...

A beautiful sunset to come home to...

Christmas at the Farm

We were so happy to have everyone gathered for the exclamation point of the Christmas Season: Moser Christmas. Even little Lolo was overheard saying, the moment the last present was opened at McPartland Christmas: "I can't wait for Moser Christmas." Hehehe. We were thrilled to have Abby back from her first year at L&C, and Brooke & Eddy were all filled with wedding planning news/the countdown for June.

I love all of these faces!!!

Jeff had Dad's name and made him a plaque that had the topographic map of Bald Butte burnt into it, with help from the glow forge at school. It was pretty awesome!

And by the end of the day, even Nessa was conked out...in the middle of Micah's mattress. So many people in the house overnight! We had two boys in our room on the floor and all three girls were next door in KT's room...every bed and couch was filled! Happy hearts.

Heading to the Farm for Christmas

Oh, what fun to pre-function the night before Christmas celebration! Only missing Brooke & Eddy!
