2023 has come to a close. This was the year that we finally took the family on Josh's 10-Year Old Trip to NYC and loved every minute of our time with Colin & Linnea in their natural habitat. Grace finished her freshman year, tried tennis for the first time, passed her AP Human Geography test, checked driver's ed off of her list, and her life peaked on July 23 when she got to go to Taylor Swift's Eras Tour concert. Josh performed in Solo Ensemble with G'ma Colleen, turned thirteen, got his braces taken off and his wisdom teeth taken out, and played lots of soccer. Micah spent time at the dermatologist (kicked the skin bumps), orthopedic (fractured his pinky) and played lots of soccer.
We started the year off with GG's service in January and thought of her all year long in our first holidays without her. We had two seniors--Alea and Megan--and celebrated them graduating and then heading off to college. The Showalters moved, and we had two family weddings: Brooke & Eddy in June, Levi & Kat in October. Jeff reapplied for his Nat'l Boards and we took the boys to their first concert: The Head & the Heart. Papa Greg had his huge back fusion surgery in August and the Mosers all came together to get us all through.
It was a FULL year, just looking back over it, I'm tired! We are so grateful for this full chapter...2023!
