Schneringers Come to Town

We are always so grateful to have our weekend with the Schneringers, Templins, and Edmondsons once each year.  This year Troy and Lauren's family stayed with Joel and Sarabeth, and this is where we had our group dinner.  Green bluff was definitely a highlight, as usual.

While Jeff was Gone...

Jeff and his staff went to SLC for a conference and they were gone Sunday-Wednesday.  I decided this was a good time to 1) entirely empty and move the bookshelves that had been at the top of the stairs since we moved in NINE years ago...2) get the carpet cleaned, so I called Drew to come help me move some furniture off of the carpet (and bookshelves down to the basement)...3) take Micah on a Greenbluff field trip...and 4) order Grace's Halloween costume.  (So perfect).  Jeff didn't know how it all happened without him!

Micah always knows when Dad's gone...somehow he wakes up on Dad's side of the bed!

Gigglers at Get Air

We love these two together...nonstop giggles.  Hailey came along to the 5th/6th grade Get Air night.  I volunteered to drive and found out that meant I got to stay and chaperone as well.  :)

Teaching Daze

Jeff continued having his volunteer group help Johnny with Growing Neighbors this year...

...and I tried to organize this bunch of 10-yr olds.

Basement progress

There was a possibility that we may be having guests later this month, so Jeff took a day off of work to install a shower, hang doors back up, and make it spiffy.  Looking good!

...and THEN, a week or so later, the toilet was installed!  Getting closer...

Spoiled kids at the book fair with grandparents...

A Major Prize, A MAJOR PRIZE!

Jeff was one of STCU's money drawings for teachers this year!  Joshua Seidelman was doing his internship there and got to help surprise Jeff with the money at work.    In true Jeff form, he turned around and gave this money to co-worker, Mike, to help get the kiln going again for the kids.

THEN, he was famous later on in the month, by being the teacher picture in the STCU newsletter!  Handsome.

September Preschool Fun

More Lochheads in Mead!

Drew is teaching in Mead!  He started working at MHS (alongside his bride!) this year and another teacher snapped this pic of the brothers in their synchronized meeting faces.  What a crack up!

Lunch with Travis at Moose Park

The boys don't have preschool together this year, so we are trying to get them together on the moms' days off!
