Showalter Sleepover

Jeff left today for WA DC with the MEAD Alternative crew.  A conference, they say!  :) I thought the sleepover with the Showalters would be the perfect activity to keep us busy.  I took the boys and Jen and Kevin took the girls...after jumping together at the mall, of course.

I took the boys to the Garland Book Trader and then the Movie Theater!  Good thing they have a bottomless tub of popcorn!  These kids refilled THREE TIMES!

And then when we picked up Grace, we all went sledding for a bit at Manito.

Sip-and-See Baby Jane

This baby is precious!  Kelly's sister hosted a little gathering at the Dahmen Barn for us to shower Kelly and get to see this sweet baby.  It was a great time!

 

G'ma Dianne Half Day

The kids had a half day today due to conferences, and Dianne and Dennis picked them up and spent the afternoon with them!  I brought the quilts that Dianne made so that we could get her picture with each of the kids.

SNOW DAY!!!

We got so much snow last night--everyone had a snow day!!!

 Daddy begged to go skiing with Drew and Steve--what a day!!!

Winter Craftiness

 Micah and I put together the Valentine's Day craft that G'ma Joan sent home with us.  I'm not sure who had more fun--him or me?

 Micah got to be the Special Helper today--he forecasted the weather like a champ!

 And I made some valentines again this year...and Grace had a vision to make a NARWHAL Valentine Box for her 4th grade party...

It was a great day!  We all made it down the long hill ONE TIME!  It was icy...Joshy didn't like the length/height of the lift...but the hot cocoa!!!  :) . Debbie and Micah led us down the hill...
