The day started out great...a swim meet for Kai Boomer! Check out those FLIPPERS, this kid is a great swimmer. Hung out with the V's and Jeff met us down at Whitter on his bike. When we went to leave, Josh and I saw Jeff down on the curb across the street--I thought he got hit by a car! He'd tried to jump the curb (something he does many times each ride) but his wheel stuck and he faceplanted into the sidewalk. Poor guy! Luckily we were right there and took him to Urgent Care and called the dentist. The end result was a root canal on his front tooth and a lot of tenderness for a long time. No August bike riding for this guy. It was THE WORST. Hopefully one of his only bike accidents!!!
