Moser Wedding Weekend

What a fun week we had at the farm! We went down a week before the wedding to immerse ourselves completely in the wedding preparations. Looking back now, the week was filled with a blur of wedding showers, wheat centerpiece creations, trips to URM to get rehearsal dinner food, getting hair and nails done...all mixed in with changing diapers, feeding Josh, and playing with Grace. Jeff had a great time with Ben and the cousins, golfing FOUR TIMES during the week. I realized I didn't get the camera out until the wedding whirlwind that started the day of the rehearsal.

The rehearsal dinner was made complete with a delicious steak dinner and KARAOKE. Here are the McPartland family singing an Irish ditty...

...and the Mosers singing "Green Acres."

The wedding party! Gorgeous pictures at the reception site: Red Barn Farms.

Gracie loved the stage...

A thousand shades of green...this is my favorite time of year on the Palouse.

Joshy loved cousin Megan--he fell asleep on her a couple of times over the weekend.

The bride and groom...

Ben got Uncle Tom to let them drive away in his...

...'67 Corvette! Ben's been wanting to drive this for YEARS!

This also happened to be Sasquatch weekend as well...Uncle Bill thought he'd design a fitting cake-topper.

Marc and Susannah came up for the wedding and stayed with us at Mom and Dad's. Susannah is a friend of mine from college, and her husband Marc works with Ben through NC Machinery/CAT. It was so fun to spend time with them--they're expecting their first baby in September!

Sweet Abby girl
G'ma Trudy and Papa LeRoy were out enjoying the kids at the reception...

Aunt Marie made this amazing cake.

We like that Kelly teases Ben. We wonder if she'll still call him Moser now that she's one too. :)

Lemonade always tastes better in a champagne glass.

The kids had a great time playing outside...Gracie LOVED rolling down the grass hill.

The first dance. Nice pic, Jeff.

Here's cousins Ellie and Erin with their little boys, Conner and Josh. Bunny ears belong to Papa Greg.

On Sunday, July 4th, we watched Kelly & Ben open presents--we didn't make it to the Johnson Parade after a late night at the wedding reception. Next year! The icing on the cake was the celebration of the Mosers' 12th Annual "In Search of Sasquatch" later that day. Gracie was so excited to have her own Sasquatch t-shirt! We had a Swiss/Wedding theme this year (it's a long story...) We were too worn-out to go watch fireworks after this crazy weekend, so instead we took two VERY TIRED KIDS (and parents) home to get to bed.

We wish the pictures captured all of the fun we had this week. Gracie is still talking about the swing Papa put up in the tree for her to swing on and the playhouse that is in G'ma Joan's yard.

We had a great time celebrating Kelly and Ben before sending them back to Alaska. We hope that they have years of happiness together...and lots of children! :) We love you, Mosers!
