TWO flip-flops, TWO pockets...

Grace is cracking us up at age two. She continues to say the funniest things and her memory is amazing us. I wanted to write down some of the things she's saying so that we don't forget this fun stage.

"What we doing after my nap time?" (she always wants to know what's next)
Singing: "John Jacob Jingle Heimer MITT!"
"Humpty Dumpty had a great fall...poor Humpty...he needs he's mommy!"
Mom: "Hey, babe." Grace: "I'm Gracie Caroline Lochhead."
"Good job, Daddy!" (said after ANY amazing Dad-task)
Gracie rings our doorbell, opens up the screen door, and hollers in, "Come on in!"
"I went BONK! I need a kiss."

We've been hearing this phrase several times a day: "..all...by...my...self!" From getting into her car seat to walking down stairs, she's excited about her new abilities. Jeff and I will never forget the day this spring when we heard Gracie go into the garage as we were lounging on the couch...two minutes later I went to check on her and was SHOCKED to see her coming BACK across our street with our newspaper in her hand. Thank heavens we live on a slow street! Yikes. We're trying to cover which things are safe to do "all-by-herself" at this fun age of TWO...
