Thanksgiving was so early this year...that when Scott's birthday actually came, we'd celebrated a week earlier. It didn't feel right. We partied again. :)
This family doesn't need much to make a party happen, of course...any special day, a carrot cake or pan of brownies, a house to go to (and sometimes even that isn't needed)...and wha-la! Instant celebration.
Uncle "Rico" is the best!
...and the rest of the gang. Notice the Christmas lights outside that Jeff ran home from work to put up. We'll always remember this as the year that Jeff lost his wedding ring as he was putting them up. The first chapter of this party involved flashlights, guests in coats, and a very relieved feeling after Jeff found it out in the grass.
