Fourth at the Farm--day two

Mowing lawn and setting sprinklers before going to a parade?!?  This is Micah's kind of holiday!!!

Red, white, and blue cousins.

The Druffel girls were going around giving out these stickers this year--"Even though your mother's been telling you differently, we all know the truth--you're just SLIGHTLY imperfect." What a crack up!  I didn't get any pictures of the spray plane kicking off the parade or the crazy Druffel float this year...but it was another great parade!

The kids had to put on their own parade then...and we were a captive audience.

They even sold treats for tokens.  It was quite the fun day!

Fireworks in Clarkston!  This year Emma and Levi joined us.  The big kids stayed at George and Connie's this year, while the music lovers walked to the stadium for the full experience.  There is nothing better than Lee Greenwood's song blaring through the stadium, with the backdrop of fireworks erupting above your head.  So thankful for the country in which we live.

And I had to include the creative endeavor for the weekend--I helped Dad put the finishing touches on the fireman's helmet that sat atop this nozzle lamp that Dad made for his friends at Sutton Salvage.  He's so creative!
