We were pooped on the first day of the year, thanks to the late night NYE, but look who we saw as we lazed around...our neighborhood MOOSE! We've seen him a couple of times already--the kids and Jeff saw him on a walk, neighbors saw him in the yard next door--but it was kind of fun watching him nibble on our neighbors' shrubs!
The temps in December--especially over break--were too frigid to go skiing in, so our first trip up to 49 was on January 2! This was the year that they replaced the main lift with a high-speed quad. It made things so nice! The Midway loop doesn't really exist anymore, but we had a great time. We went up after church, and ended up parking right by Drew & Annie!
