Micah's 10-Yr Old Trip: Great Basin Nat'l Park, NV

Our first AirBB was The Cabin in the Clouds! Muddy driveway made for a memorable approach up the driveway...but the view was worth it! We just stayed one night here, probably good that we didn't have to climb the driveway more than once!

We were so excited to find SNOW on our spring break! The terrain around GBNP was so interesting! They only had two tickets left to get a tour of the caves, so Jeff and Micah spelunked while Grace and Josh and I watched the educational video a couple of times in the Ranger's Station while waiting.

The road to the campground was closed at a certain point, but we drove the main part of the park. We decided that it would be a great park to visit in the summer--not as busy as other well-known parks! The road from Nevada to Utah was LOOOOOOOOONG and STRAIGHT. We drove quite fast, squinting to see if there were cows on the road. Crazy!
