Riverside State Park

Oh, how fun to be outside again!  We got to use our Discovery Pass for the first time this season by taking Debbie on a hike at Bowl and Pitcher.  The kids ran like bulls coming out of the chute--we'd been cooped up too long!

The water was really high, so I insisted on hands being held...

 We love this lady.

Nothing says spring better than buttercups popping up out of crunchy old gray leaves and pine needles...

And, let it be known, that after the hike, two rounds of Cities and Knights were played during nap time.  Debbie was the victor of BOTH!  Jeff and I were a bit rusty...but she was our company, after all!

The next day the girls went to get pedicures/manicures because it was raining again.

Miss Carson joined us...what a treat!  We loved the girls' afternoon out.  (Gracie was giddy with the attention--and she becomes quite the comedian when she skips her nap!)

We love you, Debbie!  Thank you for letting us fill our Debbie-void...it'll hopefully last until June!
