Katie pulled off a SURPRISE 40th birthday party for Brady earlier this month. We are AMAZED that he didn't catch on...confusing texts received, daughters saying funny things, Jeff and Ellie arriving late and hiding between cars as they drive up...thanks for looking past the little details in life, Brady!
We arrived at Rooster's and waited in a banquet room for Brady to arrive. (Some of us had longer to wait than others...Katie and Brady left their house 20 minutes prior while we waited around the corner, then pulled into their driveway to drop off the kids with Brooke...we only made it to Rooster's 30 seconds before the birthday boy, which led to the crouching between cars and hiding behind customers as we ran in...)
Brady's brother put together a slideshow...filled with stylish mullets and Brady grins.
Grandma kept blinking, if you're wondering about her wild eyes. :) She told G'pa if they knew this was an adults-only party they probably wouldn't have come--where are the kids?!? It was a great evening! Thanks for having a birthday, Brady, and nice job on the surprise, KT!
