Gracie's Preschool End-of-Year Program

Gracie had a wonderful year of 3-year-old preschool!
Here she is with her teachers, Mrs. Kristin and Mrs. Suzy.
She LOVES school.
We are so grateful to these two for giving our girl such a great first school experience!

On an evening of their last week of class, they presented an ocean-themed program.  I love the little carpets that they stand on to keep them in place...pre-k teachers have such great systems...

"Mama fish, doot-doooo, doot-du du-du!"  Emma and Avery in octopus hats

"Daddy fish..."  (Joshy sings this song by himself, now...)

Waiting patiently to start the instrument song...loving her turtle hat

"My God is so great!  So strong and so mighty..."

"... there's nothing my God cannot do..."

"My God is so GREAT!"  They all jump up.  Gracie was all over that move.

Isn't she so cute?!?  Moms are biased, I know...but seriously, people...who doesn't want to lay kisses on those cheeks?!?

G'ma came to see the program--she's been awesome in taking Grace to preschool on my work days this year.  She knows all the kids and their families, too, so she had a great time watching the kids we've been seeing all year perform their songs.

Gracie and Daddy...he's so proud of his girl!

The seven girls...Gracie is naturally tall, but in this picture she's EXTRA tall!  :)

Gracie and Emma

This is the first week we've had without preschool.  I thought she'd really be sad when we came to Tuesdays or Thursdays without school, but today, on a "G'ma Colleen Day," she asked, "Do I get to stay at G'ma Colleen's ALL DAY?!?"  Yep.  No pre-school drop-off.  She was thrilled.  She loves people--especially her G'ma!

Reading Siblings

Gracie has started reading to Josh...the story is told from memory, but it's delivered with a librarian's skill. On a rare occasion, Josh sits still to listen.

Love Notes

I just had to take pictures of these sweet birthday cards that Kalei and Alea made for Grace.  Each card came with ferns and flowers taped to the fronts, and Heidi said they spent quite a bit of time creating them.  So just in case I never get back to scrapbooking, these sweet notes will make the blog book!  :)

Welcome to the World, Anna Love Edmondson!

Our friends, Johnny and Rachel, had their 2nd baby on May 21--Anna Love.  We got to go see them at the hospital the evening after her birth!

Big Sister Lydia and Gracie were interested...for a few minutes...  :)

 Love this family photo...  :)
And this one is even better!  :)

Welcome to the world, Miss Anna Love!  We are excited to watch you grow through the years!

Gracie Turns FOUR!!!

On Gracie's birthday this year, she gets to be a flower girl in a wedding, so we had her birthday party a week early.  On the morning of her party, she got a Dora bike with training wheels!  She was quite excited.

So far she likes to push it around more than ride it, but if we give her a few weeks, she may get the hang of riding!

This year the theme she picked was RAPUNZEL!

The cake this year was a donut-tower with flower cupcakes.  Jeff was home late from HS Track Regionals, so Linnea and I stayed up to stack donuts and frost the tower.  It only fell once during the creation...

Chameleon Pascal blow-outs...

...always being aimed for other people's ears...just like in the movie!  :)

 Cousin Abbs...

 ...neighbor Kyle...

The kids are getting so big!  There was a quick line-up for food after blowing out the candles.

...Kyle, Abby, Kalei, and Josh (sweet Henry in the background!)...

...Kevin, Henry (with his party bag Cheerios!), and Jen...

 ...Megs and Gracie...

A fun, FUN, day!  We can't believe she's FOUR already...

...wasn't THIS picture taken just yesterday?
