That's right, people. We have birthday WEEKS in our family. We'd been celebrating Jeff for a whole week before his actual birthday arrived on the 17th...
...and the 17th fell on a MONDAY this year. I think Monday birthdays should be outlawed. :) It was a bit of a rough one for Jeff, so he was THRILLED with the idea of celebrating that night at Olive Garden.
We decided to have a GIRLS side of the table and a BOYS side of the table.
I think Joshy could sense it was a rough day for Daddy, so he decided to sit ON Daddy instead of BESIDE him. All meal long. He wouldn't scoot over. He kept snuggling up to Jeff, providing entertainment for our family and those lucky enough to be seated around us.

I think he works for the camera. I finally put it away before they kicked us out.
We didn't have cake for Daddy, but the evening ended with a gift from Joshy--he went POOP in the POTTY for the 2nd time in his life, thus instigating the naked bum potty dance in the kitchen.
...and there was much rejoicing! Happy Birthday, Jeffrey Scott Lochhead. Glad you could join me at 33 for a couple of months!
