We had this great rooftop patio the first two nights. The kids loved eating at the little coffee table. (And YES, they also loved the HOT TUB just beyond this…)
Silly pictures. They're like a reward after they have to smile for the regular picture.
We walked down this long jetty-type boardwalk the first morning. At the end was this lighthouse and it was right alongside cruise ships that were docked.
Gracie would say that ONE of the best things about vacations with Auntie Julie is that Julz gives Gracie fancy hairdo's every day!!!
Explorers.
Attempted family picture. Take one. (something in his flip flop…)
…take eight… (let's try a silly one!)
…take 12… (it just might work!)
…and take 18…we're done. :)
We went back for rests, and that evening decided to take a water taxi downtown for a stroll...
They LOVED this little water taxi!!!
Josh does weird things when he's excited. At least he's not biting.
We saw (and heard) these hydroplanes take off all day long. Such a fun thing to watch.
And there's the water taxi--and the crabby driver we tried to entertain! :)
And they're OFF! Auntie is a great explorer. :)
I spy two Lochheads.
Gelato! Every long hike is fueled by the promise of ice cream. Gelato didn't disappoint. We even scored some Canadian flags that waved REALLY fast! (fueled by sugar samples!)
The walk…worth it!
Killer whale, gardening style.
Really amazing hotel we didn't dare enter with tired, sugar-laden children.
I think they put Miracle Gro on their ivy.
And then the capital building lawn…
…and the long walk back to the condo. We finally made it! No major meltdowns.
