I got to go up to the hospital one afternoon to see Annie and hold little Nels. The Schneringers were visiting, but I snuck away during nap time to give some love to this family. They were quite ready to go home, after getting to know all of the hospital staff over the last week. Nels is a sweet little snuggled. I held him for a couple of hours while he slept…so hard that he peed through his layers. Love that new little boy! And it was so good to get to connect with this family that had been through so much in just one week.
