Jeff wanted to take his dad fishing for his birthday, so they set a date to take a Friday off together on the river! They drove down to the canyon and fished with Sam for the better part of the day, but the best part of the day was when this picture was taken! Monster fish! It was such a memorable day for the two of them.
And these are the three fish that I caught in my net! Kai came to play with us on this Friday morning so that a sick Mimi could rest. They were good-as-gold at the grocery store, and played so well the rest of the morning at home.
...of course the cupcake batter bait I used was too enticing to leave alone. Caught 'em!
