The End of Kindergarten

On the morning of June 11, 2013, Gracie left the house a kindergartener and came home a 1st…I can't say it yet.  :)  I told Gracie this and she said, "Mom, I'm not a kindergartener, I'm not a first grader--I'm a SUMMER VACATIONER!"

Gracie had a great year with Mrs. Badeaux, and will always remember her first school teacher with fondness!  We were so pleased with the way she grew in her academics--she's reading and adding and subtracting!--and in her social smarts.  She LOVES school, and that says so much about her teacher.

Now onward to first…give me until August to get used to this one.  :)
