Day 4--Marymere Falls, Lake Crescent, and Water Play in the Strait of Juan de Fuca

Right off the parking lot for Lake Crescent Lodge was a hike to Marymere Falls.  It was a wide, well-traveled trail, and it had lots of bridges and rocks for skipping.

We wanted to use the paddle board on Lake Crescent, but it was really choppy, so we decided to go find some water in the Strait of Juan de Fuca.  We went to where a river entered the strait and there was a big sand bar and lots of seagulls.  Julie and the kids took turns on the paddle board while Jeff took the kids out in the inflatable kayak.  Micah and I spent some time making rock towers.  I won with 13 rocks, FYI.

And that evening, Jeff was in need of a bike ride, so he took off from the KOA to explore and Julie and I stayed with the kids--I think we did the pool and dinner and games.
